MJ Kim is a Vice President at Mirae Asset Capital. He has invested in Septerna (NASDAQ: SEPN), 858 Therapeutics, and Precede Biosciences, and serves on the board of Navigantis. He focuses on investing in pioneering companies across drug discovery, diagnostics, and medical devices.

Before joining Mirae Asset, MJ was a Senior Scientist at SCAI Therapeutics and previously conducted research at the Institute for Basic Science and Tokyo Institute of Technology (now the Institute of Science Tokyo). He holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Organic Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from KAIST.
