Roshan is leading the global efforts to identify novel drug targets for the company’s internal pipeline. He brings more than 15 years’ experience in the study of complex biological systems. Dr. Kumar’s previous research was focused on the study of transcriptional regulatory networks in mammalian systems, and on understanding how cellular heterogeneity influences fate decisions in individual pluripotent stem cells. Dr. Kumar received his PhD in Biochemistry from the Scripps Research Institute and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the California Institute of Technology. His postdoctoral studies were performed at the Whitehead Institute for Biological Research at MIT and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard Medical School.
